Resilience Practices

January 6, 2021 @ 5:00 pm - 5:45 pm

MINDFULNESS, COMPASSION, GRATITUDE, MEDITATION & MORE

When you feel like there’s too much to do, or you can’t do enough, or there is nothing you can do, resilience practices can help you keep doing what you need to do. They can help you manage your suffering and well-being in the middle of any emotional storm.
Resilience is the ability to mentally or emotionally cope with difficulty or crisis and recover relatively quickly. Mental health practices for developing or accessing resilience include mindfulness, gratitude, kindness, compassion and meditation.
Join us for one of these brief practices. With each class there will be a short introduction, a guided meditation, and time for questions. This is an online Microsoft Teams drop-in class. Drop in for the entire class, or for as long as you can attend. It’s here for you if/when and for as long as you can be present.

Led by Frank Baird, LMFT, LPCC and UCLA Mindful Awareness Center Trained Meditation Facilitator. He is physically located in Woodland Hills Service Area, Thousand Oaks Department of Psychiatry but available everywhere online.

Note: When logging in, please make sure your mic is muted and your camera is off.
