From hardship to mentorship, Enrique Collazo is a new generation Mindfulness teacher who turned his adolescent times of struggling with addiction into a full blown career as a mindfulness educator to youth across the USA and beyond. Born and raised in Los Angeles, now living in the Bay Area, Enrique has been engaged in transformative youth activism for over ten years. He has spent the last five years as a coach & facilitator at Challenge Day, an organization offering highly interactive social-emotional learning seminars in high schools across the USA. Enrique’s skill with teens has led to teaching internationally for Inward Bound Mindfulness Education. He is on the Guiding Teacher Counsel and Equity and Interdependence Committee for Ibme and is currently the Mindfulness Director at a High School in Oakland CA
